Have you heard of The Religious Discrimination Bill 2021?

Moreland is one community, that’s proudly diverse. We support equality for everyone: no one person or groups rights should be at the expense of others.

We are concerned that the proposed Religious Discrimination Bill will NOT protect everyone equally. Based on our Human Rights Policy, Merri-bek City Council’s submission to the Joint Committee on Human Rights will be asking for equal protection for everybody, no matter a person’s religion, sexuality, gender or ability.
