Tell us as soon as possible about any changes to your name, address, or property ownership.

When ownership of a property changes, the owner remains responsible for the rates until we receive a notice of aquisition.

Update your details

To update your details, complete the relevant form:

• Change of Name form (DOC 58Kb)
• Change of Address form (DOC 66Kb), or
• Change of Ownership form (DOC 43Kb).

Submit the form with any required documentation:

• Submit online with scanned documents of evidence
• Mail to Merri-bek City Council, Locked Bag 10, Brunswick VIC 3056
• Visit a Customer Service Centre.

If you just need to change your residential or mailing address, you can do that by emailing our rates team at ratescontact@merri-bek.vic.gov.au, in person at a Customer Service Centre or by calling 03 9240 1111.
