Glenroy Community Hub Meeting Rooms

How to hire a meeting room

  1. Check the venue's availability or make a tentative booking request on our eServices website. 
  2. Fill in the Glenroy Community Hub Booking Form. This includes agreeing to the Terms and Conditions. Merri-bek staff need to complete the Staff Booking Form. 
  3. Email your completed booking form to RoomHireGlenroyHub@merri-bek.vic.gov.au within 7 days. If you don't email us a completed booking form within 7 days we will cancel your tentative booking request.
  4. Once we receive your completed booking form, allow 5 working days for us to assess it. Please note that restrictions may apply to large 'social' function bookings during Glenroy Library hours.
  5. If your booking is successful, you will receive a confirmation letter. Bookings within 14 days will be invoiced and must process payment before the booking can be confirmed.
  6. Irregular and one-off bookings will be provided with an invoice which is due 14 days prior to the date of the booking. Recurring bookings hire fees will be invoiced at the end of each month.

Glenroy Community Hub is located at 50 Wheatsheaf Road, Glenroy.

Hire Fees

Community discounts are available to Registered Incorporated Associations and organisations publicly listed as ‘Not-for-Profit’ with the Australian Charities and Not-for-Profit Commission. To qualify, bookings must be made for activities directly related to the group’s purpose. Social events, such as birthdays, engagements, and similar functions, do not qualify for the Community Discount.

Additional requirements including security staff, technical support, equipment, or services will be billed at cost. Details to be discussed no less than 2 weeks prior to each event.

Fees applicable until 30 June 2025 and are subject to change after this date.

About the Meeting Rooms

There are four meeting rooms available for hire at the Glenroy Community Hub, fully equipped with state-of-the-art projectors and screens. 

Rooms are available for hire for community events, celebrations and business functions, including after hours and at weekends.

Parking

Three hour parking in Glenroy Community Hub car park. Surrounding street parking on Wheatsheaf Road & Acacia Street is also available.

Bus

Three minute walk from Bus Route 513 at the stop on Bell Street (210m).

Ten minute walk from Glenroy train station on the Craigieburn train line (800m).
