How to hire a small hall or meeting room

  1. To find the right venue for your event, look through our venues on our Halls and meeting rooms pages.
  2. Check the venue's availability or make a tentative booking request on our eServices website.
  3. Fill in a venue booking form. You can find these on our Venue booking form page.

    Community groups, not for profit clubs and individuals can purchase insurance here:

  4. Email your completed booking form to communityvenues@merri-bek.vic.gov.au within 14 days. If you don't email us a completed booking form within 14 days we will cancel your tentative booking request.
  5. Once we receive your completed booking form, allow 5 working days for us to process it.
  6. If your booking is successful we will send you a confirmation letter.
  7. You must pay all the fees before your event.

    There is parking for 20 vehicles beside the venue. The entrance to the car park is on Cromwell Street. The venue shares this car park so some parking spaces may not be available at all times. There is a limit to street parking and it is subject to restrictions.
