Sports grounds and facilities
You can find information on sports facilities for hire on our Active Merri-bek website. These venues include sports grounds, stadiums, synthetic pitches, courts and much more.
If you are looking to book a sports ground or facility for a community event you can email communityevents@merri-bek.vic.gov.au or call us on 9240 1111.
Sports ground hire agreement
Before you make a booking at the Brunswick Synthetic Pitch or Fawkner Synthetic Pitch you need to read the Synthetic Pitch hire agreement.
All the details for making a casual booking are on the Active Merri-bek website. For more information you can email recreation@merri-bek.vic.gov.au.
Community managed venues
We own some venues that community committees manage for us. You can book these venues or get more information about the venues using the contact details listed below.

Many community and faith organisations also own and manage halls in Merri-bek that can be booked for recreation. You can find these venues through the community directory on Infoxchange Service Seeker.
