Fawkner Festa is a free outdoor community event that celebrates and showcases the vibrant and diverse community of Fawkner. The event includes performances, community stallholders, food vendors, children's activities, and workshops.
Since its beginning in 2008, Fawkner Festa has become a highlight in the Merri-bek events calendar, as a way for residents to come together, and experience all that Fawkner has to offer.
Fawkner Festa 2024 - Expressions of Interest now closed!
Fawkner Festa will be taking over CB Smith Reserve on Sunday 17 November from 11am to 3pm with a celebration of community, food, art and music.

Fawkner Festa 2023 is a Wrap!
We would like to express a HUGE thanks to everyone that joined us at Fawkner Festa on Sunday 29 October and made the day a success!
We couldn’t have asked for a better day filled with music, art, play and an incredible sense of togetherness. We love seeing the community spirit in full swing!
We can’t wait to see you all for next year’s Fawkner Festa!
2022 Fawkner Festa
Fawkner Festa 2022 was held on Sunday 23 October at CB Smith Reserve, Fawkner.
Thank you to everyone who participated and attended Fawkner Festa 2022! We welcomed a record-breaking 6,000 people to the event which was jam-packed with family-friendly entertainment, food, community stalls and activities.
2021 Fawkner Zine
Unfortunately, in 2021 we were not able to celebrate Fawkner Festa in person. But that doesn't mean we can't celebrate the vibrant community of Fawkner.
We have put together a collection of artworks, stories, recipes, comics, and children's activities made by the people of Fawkner, for Fawkner.
